Zero Flats collaborates with Bikes Without Borders

We facilitate access to education for children and young people in Senegal by bicycle

The experience of students and teachers with the first 490 bicycles delivered in Palmarin.

Since 2015, the Foundation of Bikes Without Borders has been running the Bikes for education in Senegal project. The objective of the project is to facilitate access to education for children and young people in Senegal through the bicycles. This project came about because of the situation experienced by hundreds of children who have to walk over 5 kilometres to attend school each day, and due to this, they return home tired and lacking the energy to study further. Zero Flats has joined this magnificent project as one of its collaborators and will be giving bicycles to institutes in Senegal for students that live furthest away and for the best pupils in each class, thereby, reducing absenteeism and improving the students’ performance.
