How to use the Zero Flats
anti-puncture solution?
STEP 1
Hang the wheel so it isn't touching the floor throughout the process.
STEP 2
Assemble the tyre valve without tightening it too much. There is no need for tools, using the fingers is enough.
STEP 3
Remove the valve core from the tubeless valve that comes with the wheel and assemble the wheel.
STEP 4
Check the that the tyre beads are properly centred with the rim and it will be easier.
STEP 5
Using a brush, brush the space between the tyre beads and the interior of the rim with soap and water. There is no need to use a lot of water, only so it spins. This helps the tyre beads to sit more quickly on the rim.
STEP 6
Without assembling the valve core, inflate it using the compressor until the tyre is beaded. You will hear a thud as it fits into place.
STEP 7
Leave it to deflate slowly; the tyre needs to stay attached to the rim by the tyre beads. Add a tin of ZERO FLATS through the valve.
STEP 8
Assemble the valve core. Don’t let the wheel touch the floor.
STEP 9
Inflate with any pump, the best way is using the compressor or a foot pump.
